Below Deck Med- S9 E8 "Running Aft-er Time"

[00:00:00] Hi everyone, so today we're going to just do a little thing for below Deck. I mean the drama is still ongoing with Ellie and Bri, and now you know, Asia is getting involved saying get your shit together.

[00:00:30] And I guess like the main thing really is Asia kind of telling Bri, just sleep in your room, enough enough, you're just sleepy sleeping in the boys, where we're gonna all this.

[00:00:41] But I think the main thing for me with this whole thing is that Ellie is a gas leader. Ellie thinks that she's done a no-wrong. And she's all about playing the victim, her- not playing the victim card and everything yet she's doing the exact same.

[00:00:57] She's playing the victim card and like running to Joe and playing victim with him. And he had, it's just kind of ridiculous. And I think as she keeps it up you're not even gonna be interested in her. So cool. He still seems to be into it, so whatever.

[00:01:12] But yeah, I'm not gonna rehash it anymore than I already did in my last episode. But Bri does end up sleeping in her own room. Things do have been happy, asleep in her own bed.

[00:01:25] So there's that great kind of thing about anything else that kind of really happened. Yeah, I think the- we're gonna get to eat in a minute a little bit with his- I don't know what the hell. Let's just do kind of John L and the food and everything.

[00:01:41] Very quick. He seems to have been doing a little better this- this time around, you know, getting through it out that, like I've seen to be really enjoying the only thing with him that I've noticed is that like, okay, they like the eggs Benedict.

[00:01:57] So let's stick to the eggs Benedict because they like in their last day and it's just like, well, you could have your oddities on thing different but I guess, you know, if I didn't broke don't fix it, I guess.

[00:02:10] But at least he seems to be doing okay, so he seems to be happy with the food. But I guess we'll see him kind of what happened. Um, so at least there's that great. He has to be in.

[00:02:23] I don't know if he knows how to do his job correctly. If we knew how to stand, you kind of coming out there out into your dream and your dream and different things. And she's gonna have to be denied the mix, the deck team looking confident and really

[00:02:39] it's him, that's a confident. And it's- it's- I feel bad for them. I mean, I think Sandy's going to have to kind of be like, okay, something's up here, especially with what happens in the last day of charter where he does it turn the battery off on

[00:02:55] the tender and kind of is leaving everyone else and hold the urge to try and figure shit out like that's unfair. So yeah, I- I- he's incompetent. I don't quite understand.

[00:03:09] And you know, too, that they were like, no, no, we got to use and stay him back because they really don't want to deal with him. So yeah, that's- there's- we're kind of gonna transition into the act of getting those in a whole lot this episode.

[00:03:24] But I really want to talk about- I kind of wanted to focus more on the draw- well with the anchor. But before we get into the job with the anchor, I just want to say, my girl primary at the

[00:03:37] primary and over her name, she was like, wasted during split, since stuff. And she was caught. And I think that's a husband and not sure sure. He just looked kind of on an impressed dad or something, but when they were doing the

[00:03:57] happy birthday, I mean, Joe seems to know his stuff with the piano, seem- we get there. But this happy birthday rendition was really bad. Like no one could carry your tune. No one is in sync with each other. Nothing. It was really bad.

[00:04:26] But you know, it is what it is right. But we're kind of done there, done with all of that. But basically, this is kind of due to the drama with the anchor last day or whatever.

[00:04:43] So these seem to be kind of doing this anchor and not getting the bow unencored, if that's the part you're termed to use. So they can get to port great, or early actually, they were starting. Everything is complete.

[00:05:02] I'm not so great because the, with they were for sure as the windless, which I guess is the thing that kind of does the, the chain, the chain up. The anchor up isn't working. It's not working.

[00:05:19] You can appear this really horrific sounding thing that you clearly can tell, she ain't working. And of course, and the sleep as we kind of know, how many knows that's what I was on a bed deal, but he has got to walk enough.

[00:05:36] And she'll be able to go to it. And it's not great. And it's one point to any kind of says like if the anchor doesn't come up, like we'd have to let the anchor go and then my thought.

[00:05:51] Because I know nothing about this is what happens then if you have to be the anchor, what do you do if you need to anchor the boat later on? Because you'd have to ditch this anchor. I would love to know.

[00:06:06] But anyways, so we have to kind of get the engineers on on this to get a help and we have to really cook. So I can't engineers, which is Luca and all the other guy thing. I think was I been, whoa.

[00:06:28] Whoa, whoa, whoa, what a good looking man. Oh, anyway. There come on to help. But this is kind of where we find out, I think, from Ivan was along the tender, found out that the battery wasn't working.

[00:06:44] And Sanis, who was the last person on the tender in was the last person on the tender. They fucked up. That's great. If you have Luca who's kind of like trying to figure out stuff with the anchor, which is all cool. It's all looking good.

[00:07:01] And eventually, yeah, they did wake Ian. I've been saying this then we have problems. When you're so things do that I don't want to forget. The, some of one of the guests, I don't know who exactly it was.

[00:07:11] But one of the guests that they were actually going to be catching a plane to Paris. And I don't know what time the plane's supposed to be, but this was we catching a plane of Paris. They were like they were at a schedule.

[00:07:27] It's getting roughly half an hour out of schedule just ballpark it. And then you kind of just see, gradually as we go with this drama with the anchor five minutes by 10 minutes goes by half an hour and it was by a 45 minutes goes by. So they're late.

[00:07:47] Right, usually they talk around 12. It's like 11 o'clock. They're not even the anchor something up yet. And then front of light to these different things. You get that the ink up and it's not working.

[00:08:01] And then we kind of have the end use kind of see that somehow somehow we have much of how one of the anchors kind of, oh, I think or sorry, the anchor or something having to do the anchor, the release is in that the chain is just going.

[00:08:19] It's at a point where it's not stopped. They're going to release the anchor before maybe they're ready to. And say, and he's kind of like, make it stop because we're about to lose this anchor. And that's going to be not great for any.

[00:08:38] So he's going to kind of see what happens next week, but yeah, it's insane as this episode with the talking and further the drama with the exterior. Which kind of feels good to not have to talk about drama and interior this time around

[00:08:55] is because like we've rehashed it. We don't need to talk about it again. So yeah, it's not all he good. But we'll see how it goes hopefully the guests who are they were or who are those like a couple of gets to Paris all in time.

[00:09:13] Yeah, but anyway, I'm basically yeah, I think with this episode there was an whole lot that I said the main thing for me was kind of just talking about that. I think with the next episode we're going to see Asia kind of dealing with this

[00:09:28] drama between Ellie and Bree. So we'll see how that goes. So obviously a little bit more talk about there. But otherwise, I think that's kind of it. The one cool thing that I wanted to take my way, we just normally talk about what

[00:09:43] is going to, I thought was pretty cool. What's this cave that they want? It's very like a mini cave. And it looked really cool. And I don't know why Ellie was on the water because she can't swim. But anyway, she's all in this.

[00:09:56] I was here and swim with cheese scared of water. So look at why are you not water? But anyways, that was kind of the only thing that was pretty cool. That's it. I think else is a really disgusting thing in this episode.
